The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually happening.
